Has your muse ever been on vacation? Mine was gone for a while. Check out this post I wrote on
MiG Writers on what I did while she was gone.
What about you? What do you do while your inspiration is gone? (Other than eat chocolate of course.)

I read and watch HGTV - YIKES - no wonder I can't seem to die...t
I switch to another project. That usually gets me motivated again.
I'm glad your muse came back! I love those generators. They can offer up some hysterical plot ideas.
When my muse goes missing I like to do very mindless things, like put a jigsaw puzzle together or...weed. It seems emptying my mind makes room for words.
I've tried to get back into poetry lately. I can't seem to do it! I used to be able to just let it flow. Maybe I'll use that generator for ideas...
Oh, definitely. I read when I can't think of anything to write. I do dishes. Fold laundry. Live life. Something always comes.
Smile... I love chocolate! When my muse leaves, my mind leaves so i just flow with everyone else.
My writing inspiration hits me like a brick in the face, usually in the middle of the night when I should be sleeping. I'm lucky to get anything else done around here when I'm not writing. You know, all those things I "should" be doing instead. ;)
This are all great!
Kim- you crack me up!
Andrea- good idea
Bish- or like that cat puzzle you put on your blog :-)
Kelly- I hope your poetry muse returns!
Elana- Dishes? Seriously? Yuck! Well, unless you have a good view...
Fida- yeah for chocolate!
Rena- Oh I know. I'm so bad about that
