I finished my first drafted of my next novel! WOW! I can't believe it. I really can't. I think every time I write something new, it seems to get easier. Although, my next novel I'd like to tackle, isn't going to be so easy. But I'm going to wait a while to write that one.
A special thank you to Amber Lough who gave me an award. Thank you Amber! Passing back the love your way!
I'm supposed to write 7 things about myself:
2. I make divine chocolate chip cheesecake
3. I danced for Disney once upon a time
4. Drawing simple objects like stick men is way out of my ability range
5. Jane Austen rocks
6. Friday night fun consists of a thick history book (okay, I won't pass up dancing and a movie)
7. I can't decide which movie I like better- Star Wars or Lord of the Rings
And to top my fun day, Wordswimmer has posted an interview with me and my brilliant critique partners from MiG Writers. Check it out!

Congrats on finishing your draft, Christy! I'll have some chocolate with you, because I finished the second draft of mine, too. Feb. was a productive month!
Yippeee Andrea!!!!
Congratulations Christy! Is there a word for the feeling a writer gets as she types the last word of novel? If there isn't we need to coin one.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely Bish. Now we need to think of one. Hmmm....
You danced for Disney?! That is so neat!
I'm in full agreement with Bish, there definitely needs to be a word for that feeling! Congratulations on finishing the first draft! I'm well on my way and can't wait for the feeling!
Yay!! Congrats!!!
I'm impressed with your Disney dancing skills.
(and Star Wars all the way!!)
Congratulations on your draft. Now the fun part starts, huh? ;)
Mmm, chocolate chip cheesecake... *drools*
Wow - good news galore! Congrats on all of it! :-)
Congratulations, Christy! That's wonderful.
The great thing about chocolate is, it can be congratulatory or serve as consolation. I'm afraid I've put on about 5 pounds of consolation this past year, but hopefully it will lead to the other. LOL
Congrats on finishing your draft! I agree that deserves chocolate...grin...Hugs...
I'll go with LOTR! I love this stuff!
Congrats on the first step toward the printed page!!!
There is nothing, NOTHING, like the feeling of finishing a first draft. Congratulations! Bask in the glow.
congrads that is a huge step!
Congratulations Christy and Andrea!!!
Congratulations on finishing the draft! It's SO much fun, isn't it? Love that picture.
Thanks guys so much! Wow. I just feel a sense of relief. But the manuscript is a nightmare of a disaster. Needs lots of tender loving care. But for now, I'm content to take one chapter at a time for now!
Congratulations! I know how good this feels.
I'm still on that last pesky chapter of my current WIP, dying to get to the end...
Congrats on finishing your draft! I'm working on my second novel, but I wouldn't say it gets any easier...
Have some chocolate for me!
