The Hobbit

I just can't handle how excited I am about this:

And yes, when hubby and I went to New Zealand we totally backroaded it to try to find the Lord of the Rings movie set. Of course, we nearly ruined the rental, but it was worth the attempt.

Can't wait for this one! And if I went to New Zealand, I would definitely need to see the setting. :)

Oh man, so jealous you've been to NZ, er - Middle Earth. I can't wait for this one! I wonder where they're going to cut off from film 1 and pick up with film 2. I imagine somewhere around Beorn's house.

You are a world traveler!!

I am very embarrassed to say I have never seen any of the LOTR movies nor read the books...YET!
(I did start reading the Hobbit actually with my son a few years ago, but I think he was too young for it and we didnt' finish.) But one day will pick it up again!

I hope to visit New Zealand one day.

I'm glad Kelly said it first! I have not read any LOTR books or seen the movies. I've tried The Hobbit but put it down. I know I need to try again...

I'm a big fan of Tolkien. Very influential on my writing. And New Zealand is so Middle Earth. It looks just like the movies.
