Spring Break Fun

Last week was Spring Break for us. Lots of good times like playrooms, donuts, Starbucks, writing, hanging out with friends, reading, and eating yummy food.

One of the places we went to was Lotte World. It's a Korean version of Disney World even down to the blue castle, which we got a kick out of.

But it was fun and a really different experience. Half of the park is inside, which was nice because the weather was anything but springlike. It's an enormous building that's like 30 stories high but a theme park is inside with floating balloon rides and even a monorail.

I think the boys' favorite ride was the pirate ship. They wanted to know if it would take them to Bora Bora.

I wish!

We're off to Disney in May. And you should take the kids to Bora Bora!

A Korean Disneyland! It looks like fun. It's inspired to have half of it indoors, we've had run ins with bad weather at theme parks, it's the worst!

Your website looks great!

We went to Disney 2 years ago and I think hubby is so attached he's trying to talk me into going again. I might give in to another visit at Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios since we haven't done those on every trip. Glad you had a great time.

That sounds so cool. My kids would LOVE that theme park. Our Spring Break took us to somewhat rainy Charlottesville, VA. We got to see friends, so the rain wasn't much of a bother, but I was glad to get back to the sunny, warmer weather in Oklahoma, until we got a snowstorm this weekend! Gotta love Spring :-)

It was fun!

Jennifer- I love it that you're a Disney fan. I work there every summer when we go back home to visit family. It's a great place to hang out.

Martha- Yes! Lotte does make chocolate among other things. Extra points for you.

Looks like a really fun place to go.
We made the mistake of taking our son to 'Fairy Land' in Namsan Tower when were there in 03.'Scary Land' would have been a better name.

Oh Kate that's terrible but I had to laugh over your name choice. :)
