So my paranormal romance needs a title. I'm not ready to spill the beans on the plot yet, although I'm totally psyched over it, I've been brainstorming ideas.
But the problem is I'm terrible at coming up with good titles. Then I went on NaNoWriMo and they had a link for Title-o-Matic that generates random titles for you. I got a kick out of it, but no title yet.
Some halarious titles it picked for me:
- Requiem Coughing
- Sepia Languid
- Gold-Flake Blurple
- White Sea Pearl
- Star Tomato
Maybe you'd like to play too? Click here.
It gave me Sad Dusk or Meltdown Ice
ReplyDeleteHum...don't know I kinda like White Sea Pearl :)
It's addicting, I know. If I didn't have to write up a blurb on my novel for my writing class, I'd still be playing.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of fun! My favorite so far is Velvet Glasseye.
ReplyDeleteI got Cranberry Storm Drain. Snarf.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you on title problems. That's why I ran a contest!
I'm voting for Gold-Flake Blurple myself. It's quirky and I'm confident you won't find another book with that title. :-) (Just kidding, of course.) I can't believe you're 50% done already; you're a fast writer!
ReplyDeleteTitles are not my strong point. But my crit group helped me a ton with my last one!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kim -- I think "White Sea Pearl" sounds kind of cool.
ReplyDeleteThese titles have brought up some very weird ideas on what you story might be about...grin...
ReplyDeleteOh Requim Coughing is a keeper!
ReplyDeleteHa! I tried it. My favorite? Alley Cat Peach Puff
ReplyDeleteYou guys crack me up!
ReplyDeleteI got Twinkle Lavenderblush. It sounds like the name of a fairytale character or something.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious, Christina! I got Stalker Pink Lemonade...
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by my blog. I'll look forward to hearing more about your writing adventures in SK.
Rent Cranberry
ReplyDeleteInhaling Photographs
I'm bad at titles, too, but this tool will either make you feel better about your own, or function as an idea starter . . . now what could I do with inhaling photos . . .
